Handcrafted Cremation Urn with Keepsake tray– Figured Maple & Cherry

This is one of my latest handcrafted creations: a cremation urn made from exquisite figured maple and cherry wood. Thoughtfully designed, it features a memory keepsake tray nestled into the top—perfect for holding small keepsakes, treasured photographs, or heartfelt farewell messages.
 
The natural characteristics of the woods were carefully chosen for their complementary aesthetics. The flowing, dynamic grain of the figured maple balances beautifully with the straight, even texture of the cherry. Together, they create a warm, harmonious presence that gently honors a loved one’s memory.
 
Each urn is meticulously finished by hand using a high-quality, eco-friendly oil. This finish enhances the wood’s natural beauty with a soft satin sheen while providing long-lasting protection. The interior receives the same care, with an added layer of polished beeswax for a smooth, gentle surface to hold the ashes of your loved one.
