Beautiful Elm and Maple Cremation Urn

I present to you a cremation urn made of beautiful elm and maple.
 
What captivates and pleases me about this unique and luminous piece is observing the beautiful differences and complementarities between these two woods that compose it.
 
The elm chosen for this composition has a dynamic grain, almost fluid in its movement, and upon closer inspection, its distinctive grain reveals a hatched texture reminiscent of partridge feathers. The lower part, on the other hand, is made of maple cut on the quarter, which provides a stable and regular base, rendering equilibrium to the ensemble. This cut of the maple highlights its medullary rays, giving a regular and shimmering grain in the light. Every aspect of these unique woods contributes to a balanced composition, revealing hidden beauty with every glance.
 
Meticulously crafted, this funeral urn is finished with an eco-friendly oil applied by hand in multiple layers. This finish enhances the beautiful natural characteristics of the woods. The interior is also treated in this manner with an additional layer of beeswax, polished into a soft and smooth surface, offering a gentle resting place for the ashes of your loved one. This funeral urn can, in a significantly way, pay tribute to your dearly departed and honor their memory.
