Ambrosia Maple and Walnut Cremation Urn with Nesting Keepsake Tray

Here is one of my latest creations: a cremation urn made of ambrosia maple and black walnut with a nesting keepsake tray. I particularly appreciate the beautiful little knot and squiggle and distinctive marks on the ambrosia maple, caused by ambrosia beetles. To enhance the natural beauty of the wood, a high-quality, eco-friendly finish is carefully applied by hand in multiple layers. This oil finish provides a slight sheen and a soft satin effect. The interior of the urn is finished in the same manner, with an additional layer of polished beeswax, providing a smooth and gentle surface to hold your loved one's ashes.
