Cremation Urn Made of Ambrosia Maple and Black Walnut

Here is a new cremation urn made of Ambrosia maple and black walnut. This particular Ambrosia wood presents unusual tones of gray and cream color with pink and blue hues, creating harmonious and soft nuances. The black walnut, on the other hand, adds a touch of contrast with its light sapwood and chocolate-colored heartwood. The combination of these two woods adds a touch of elegance and contemporary sobriety.
 
What sets this piece apart from others and makes it even more precious to me is that the tree from which the walnut wood comes is still standing, alive, and purifying the air. This part of the urn is made from a cut branch of a very old black walnut tree, a special gift from a client and friend in Ottawa.
 
The finish of this urn is a high-quality, eco-friendly oil applied by hand in multiple layers to create a smooth and satin-like finish. The interior also has an additional thin layer of beeswax, polished to make the surface smooth and welcoming for your loved one's ashes.
